Continuum Marketing Group Founders: Cynthia and David Alpert

In 2002, already remodeling firm marketing experts, Cynthia and David Alpert founded Continuum Marketing Group LLC to provide smarter marketing for remodeling firms across the US. Their goal was to become the best, full-service source of professional marketing services dedicated to serving professional remodeling firms. Their focus today, as it was before, is 100% on providing the best marketing services for remodeling firms possible.

Earning their remodeling marketing “street cred”
even before Continuum

Cynthia and David Alpert earned their remodeling firm marketing credentials even before founding Continuum Marketing Group. For over 20 years prior to founding Continuum, Cynthia and David Alpert owned and operated a 25-person marketing firm catering to the marketing and communications needs of large and medium-sized businesses and organizations, most not remodeling firms. However, included in their roster of well-known national and international clients were the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, the National Association of Home Builders, a large and active NARI chapter and, starting in the 1990s, a number of individual remodeling firms. Because the remodeling firms, as a group, had different needs than their other clients, Cynthia and David Alpert launched a division of their marketing firm just for remodeling firm marketing.

Investing in and forecasting the future
of remodeling firm marketing

Cynthia and David Alpert’s company invested over $250,000 in research and development to learn about homeowners (and how they buy remodeling services), remodeling firms, the business of remodeling, remodeling firm marketing best practices and how the power and potential of the then-nascent web technology could be harnessed and used by remodelers. Despite the fact that many of those in the remodeling industry back then saw no possible use for the internet for remodeling firm marketing, it was during this time that David Alpert accurately forecast the way that the internet and websites would change the dynamic of remodeling firm marketing and developed the web-centric marketing model for remodeling firm marketing, still in use today. In addition to identifying and refining many of the remodeling industry’s remodeler marketing best practices, their company scaled and modified marketing approaches that work for larger businesses and different industries so they could be used cost effectively for marketing remodeling firms.

Constantly working on smarter ways for

Today, Cynthia and David Alpert are still pushing the envelope. While providing the best of traditional and current marketing approaches to their clients, they continue to seek out, identify and harness the power of new and innovative forms of marketing for remodeling firms.

Sharing knowledge and time with many remodelers

In addition to our normal remodeling firm marketing services, David Alpert, our president, has spoken to many groups of remodelers about almost every aspect of remodeling company marketing and has been the presenter for many webinars on marketing for remodeling firms. He has volunteered his expertise in support of educational and other programs offered by NARI, Remodelers Advantage, Remodelers Information Technology Group and for Remodelers University.

David Alpert has served as a member of local NARI chapter committees and is a past president of the Remodelers Information Technology Group. He received the Contractor’s Choice award from NARI and the President’s Award from the Remodelers Information Technology Group for his contributions to the remodeling community.
